I’m Linda, the person working behind the scenes atTheFabulousRoom.com. I’m an interior designer, home stager and home stylist in Winnipeg, Canada. When I stage or style a home, I’m so often asked where I got this item, or where I found that piece… People touring the houses I stage often want to buy the items I’ve placed in the house. And people who buy the homes I stage want me to sell them all the decor and accessories they see in them! As a home stager and stylist, part of my job is to look for those items that really make a space special. My mother taught me long ago how to train my eye to “curate” when shopping. That means never settling for the ordinary, but rather, holding out for items that really have “style impact”. When it comes to decor and accessories for the home, that means items that either stir an emotion or convey personality, comfort, or a sense of luxury. This is what transforms an ordinary room into… well, a FABULOUS ROOM. Part of the work I do is to source items from around the world in search of those distinctive and special items.
I launched The Fabulous Room to help other people fill their homes with decor and accessories that are on-trend and visually “it”. All items ordered through The Fabulous Room will be shipped directly to your door via Canada Post. Most of our products are special ordered specifically for you from overseas. Shipping is included in the price of each item, unless otherwise specified in the item description.
In order to be able to offer you free shipping, we use the most economical shipping methods possible – so that means shipments may arrive in as little as two weeks, or on occasion they may require up to 4 weeks in transit. So please plan on allowing about 2-4 weeks for delivery. If you need your order more quickly, expedited shipping options are available at an additional charge.
